About Us
Stefanazzi & Spargo Granite Co. Inc. was established in 1964 by Hugo Stefanazzi and his son Richard. Originally called Stefanazzi & Son, we were a wholesale jobber for many area monument dealers, doing cemetery lettering and repairs and operating out of a shop in Averill Park.
In 1971 we moved to our current location on Rt. 9 in Latham. We have a large indoor and outdoor display along with the largest retail workshop in the Northeast. Unfortunately, Hugo passed away in 1972, shortly after our move the the new location. In 1986, Richard purchased Spargo Granite Co. (a company he worked for for many years) and joined them together at our main office to form Stefanazzi & Spargo Granite Co. Inc. In the 1980's Richard was joined by his children, Rayanne and Robert, to continue the family tradition.
Now over 40 years later, we still strive to be the best and most reliable monument dealer in the Capital Region. We have reasonable prices for excellent work.
